Surah al-Qari'a ayah 4
Yawma yakun an-nasa ka al-farash al-mabthuth
A day when humankind will be like scattered moths
The following is an excerpt of commentary on this ayah:
Allah says that nobody can know the nature of this day unless He reveals it. Then He Himself says that on that day, the people will be wandering here and there all scattered and in a state of utter confusion. At another place Allah portrays the conditions of the people: "As if they were locusts spread around" (Quran 54:7).
