Surah al-Alaq ayah 7
An raahu istaghna
Because he considers himself self-sufficient

Abdullah says that two kinds of people are never satisfied, the one who has thirst for knowledge, and the one who has a thirst for wealth. But they are very different from one another. One who is thirsty for knowledge strives for the pleasure of Allah, but the one who is thirsty for wealth strives in wickedness and selfishness
