Surah al-Alaq ayah 17
Fa li yada'u nadiyah
Then let him call upon his council
The following is an excerpt of commentary on this ayah:
He will call on his kith and kin for help but no one will come forward. Bukhari reported on the authority of Ibn Abbas that once Abu Jahl threatened, "If I see Muhammad praying in the Ka'ba, I shall trample his neck." When the news reached the Prophet, he remarked, "If he does this, the angels of Allah will catch hold of his neck."
