the taxman cometh

Tax time is never fun, but it's a lot better being a regular employee than self-employed. I was a contractor for two months in 2004, which means that last year I had to figure out all kinds of complicated tax forms and pay an arm and a leg.

This year, it's much easier - and thanks to withholding, the amount I have to pay is very small, al-hamdulillah
