Kucinich makes campaign stop in Fargo

The Associated Press - Thursday, September 13, 2007

FARGO, N.D.

Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, found himself looking for his luggage during a campaign stop here.

Kucinich, 60, making his second run for president, took part in a fundraising breakfast at Fargo's Hotel Donaldson on Wednesday.

The six-term congressman also ran for president in 2004. He finished fifth among seven candidates in North Dakota's Democratic presidential preference caucuses.

Kucinich told The Forum he found himself standing alone in the Fargo airport at midnight, trying to find out what happened to his luggage, and walked outside to find help.

"You look up at the great expanse of the universe and you see all the stars in the sky that are thundering in their beauty, and you realize that all is right with the world," he said.
