Kucinich on NASA (Kucinich for Congress)

From the Kucinich for Congress issues page on NASA:

Reaching for the Stars

The Space program has been a story of both triumph and tragedy. So much of who we are as a nation is identified with this program - which gives us the capacity to use our inventive genius as we reach for the stars. NASA has been responsible for major technological developments in medicine propulsion, materials research, communications, and transportation. It has also enabled peaceful, international cooperation.

Congressman Kucinich wants NASA to continue as an incubator of new technologies for peace. It is a source of creation of not only new jobs, but of a new hope for humanity, of our reach exceeding our grasp. Congressman Kucinich is proud of the work of the dedicated professionals of NASA and proud that his district hosts the NASA Glenn Research Center, named after astronaut and US Senator John Glenn.
