Kucinich on Health Care (Kucinich for Congress)

From the Kucinich for Congress issues page on health care:

A Leader for Health Care for All

Congressman Kucinich is one of the leaders in Congress to bring quality health care to all Americans. He is co-author of a bill, with Rep. John Conyers, which will provide all Americans with a high standard of health care, and with their doctor of choice.

The high cost of health care is depriving many Americans of a decent quality of life. The Conyers-Kucinich bill, HR 676, will establish universal health care, and guaranteed access to all medically necessary care. Inpatient, outpatient, dental care, and vision care are all covered under the plan.

The high cost of prescription drugs threatens the economic stability of many American families, particularly our senior citizens. The Conyers-Kucinich plan includes fully paid prescription drugs.

There are 44,000,000 Americans without health insurance. Employers are cutting health care benefits. Premiums, copayments and deductibles are rising sharply. The Conyers-Kucinich plan is the one which will benefit all Americans.
