Many political analysts agree the Presidential race is now between George Bush and John Kerry.
According to NBC, Senator John Kerry has enough votes to win the Democratic Nomination no matter what happens in the Illinois primary.
Still, there are other Democratic Presidential candidates still fighting for votes.
Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich brought his campaign to the United Auto Workers Union Hall in East Peoria Sunday.
Kucinich himself concedes his party's nomination has pretty much been decided.
But he says his candidacy allows Democrats from all camps to continue to be heard.
The Four-term congressman from Ohio is quick to point out not all Democrats think alike, ''There's some real differences of opinions within our party and my candidacy keeps alive that debate.''
But Democratic frontrunner John Kerry seems to have moved on from debating other Democratic candidates. In Quincy Saturday Kerry challenged the President to a series of monthly debates all the way up to the November election.
Kucinich says staying in the race allows him to visit cities like Peoria, and continue to get his views out on issues like the war in Iraq, the state of the economy and healthcare.
''I think it's important to come to places like Peoria and Galesburg. The people here are the future of our country, they're concerned about jobs and healthcare.''
Kucinich has also been campaigning to pull U.S. troops out of Iraq immediately and replace them with UN peacekeepers.
''I never saw any proof! I'm a ranking Democratic on a sub-committee for National security and I never say any proof of why we should go into Iraq.''
Kucinich received two-percent of the vote in the Texas primary. [ed. note: why pick this of all results? Why should Illinois vote like Texas? Or why not say he got 31% in Hawaii?]
