Kucinich to visit Roseburg on Sunday

ROSEBURG: Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich will speak in Roseburg on Sunday evening as part of a swing through western Oregon.

Kucinich will give a speech and answer questions from the audience during the 7 to 9 p.m. appearance at the Ford Community Room inside the Douglas County Library, 1409 N.E. Diamond Lake Blvd.

The Ohio congressman is scheduled to begin his Oregon visit today with an appearance at Lincoln High School in Portland.

On Saturday, he will host a fund-raising breakfast before visiting the Portland Saturday Market. Later, he will give speeches in Salem and Corvallis.

On Sunday, he will sit down for an interview and field listener questions at radio station KLCC (88.5 FM) in Eugene. The call-in program, hosted by Claude Offenbacher, will be broadcast live from noon to 1 p.m.

Following his speech in Roseburg, Kucinich will travel to Ashland for breakfast on Monday. He will give a speech at Southern Oregon University at noon Monday and later visit the Ashland Community Cooperative.

Kucinich ends his Oregon engagements with a speech Monday evening at the Reston Hotel and Convention Center in Medford.
