Kucinich Update
- Democratic National Convention: July 26 - 29
- Boston Social Forum: July 23 - 25
Dear Kucinich supporter,
Now that your state has held its Democratic primary or caucus, there are two upcoming events of particular importance to our ongoing Kucinich campaign. We've described these below and have provided links for you to use if you want more information.
Democratic National Convention: July 26 - 29
In July we're taking Dennis’s progressive platform to the Democratic National Convention in Boston (http://www.dems2004.com/). It's critically important that we continue to support Dennis’s campaign during the 126 days between now and the Democratic National Convention—both physically and financially. Dennis will carry our strong collective voice for peace, jobs and justice to Boston in July and beyond. But he needs your help. We need volunteers to represent the Kucinich campaign in Boston, greet our delegates and prospective delegates, distribute Kucinich material, attend rallies, and help plan and promote workshops.
We’ll keep you informed as our plans for the Democratic National Convention continue to evolve. If you’re a pledged delegate to the Convention you can contact Laura Blubaugh for information at laura.blubaugh@kucinich.us, or 866.413.3664. If you’re not a delegate but want to attend anyway you can contact Kat Scott for information at Katherine@kucinich.us, or 866.413.3664.
Boston Social Forum: July 23 – 25
We also need your help in the days just before the convention at the Boston Social Forum on July 23 – 25. This is going to include activities, events and workshops devoted to promoting the progressive platform. You can help make these successful by coming to Boston in time for the Social Forum and participating in these events that will occur before and during the Convention. For more information about the Boston Social Forum go to: http://www.bostonsocialforum.org .
