Momentum of the Movement
Things are happening at the Kucinich campaign! Dennis continues to tour the United States talking about the issues that concern Americans the most. Yesterday, he visited Washington State - visit this link for photos, news articles and reports: http://kucinich.us/dennis-campaigntrail-2.php .
Today Dennis visits Michigan, tomorrow California, and then on to Maine. Watch http://www.kucinich.us for photos and video footage. Also check back later today - Dennis will be sending an updated report from the campaign trail. For Dennis' schedule, see http://www.kucinich.us/schedule.php
PHONE BANKING AND LETTER WRITING
The most important thing you can do right now to help Dennis in the primaries is make phone calls and write letters to voters. See the upper right-hand corner of http://kucinich.us for phone call details. If you want to help write letters, please email us at letterwriting@kucinich.us. Our current focus is Dennis' home state, Ohio.
"RECLAIM THE HEART OF AMERICA" HOUSE PARTIES
Looking for a fun way to tell others about Dennis and to raise money in the process? Have a House Party. If we have 1,000 House Parties raising $1,000 each, we will have raised $1,000,000! Sign up now at http://kucinich.us/houseparties/ and receive a free video to show at your party.

ONE GIRL CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Last September, Dennis received a letter from a 9-year old girl named Suzette inviting Dennis to her birthday party. Suzette's party is going to be held on February 28. Suzette's mom tells us that Suzette has decided not to have a traditional party with gifts for herself. Instead, she is having a House Party for Kucinich. Suzette will teach her friends and their parents about why she supports Dennis. Suzette is asking partygoers to give their money to the campaign instead of bringing birthday gifts.
If you want to help Suzette raise money for Dennis, please contribute now:

VOLUNTEERS, MEETUPS, AND FUNDS ARE STILL ON THE RISE
How badly do people want to see this movement continue? Seventy-nine new volunteers signed up on the website the day after Tuesday's elections. A call for donations from Campaign Manager Dot Maver on Monday produced a two-day total of $100,000. Hundreds more people have signed up to attend MeetUp since Tuesday!
Dot, Dennis and the rest of the crew thank you for your contributions and for your support. You are the grass roots...your involvement will keep this campaign moving forward.

EID GREETING TO THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY
Dennis issued the following Eid greeting to the Muslim community:
Assalaamu Alaykum... May peace and blessings be upon all... As Muslim Americans across the country and Muslims around the world gather to celebrate, I extend my warmest wishes for a meaningful and joyous Eid ul Adha this year. Health, happiness and peace to all!
Warmly,
Dennis Kucinich
UPCOMING PRIMARIES
Don't forget the most important thing of all - get out to vote! Exercise your right to vote, whether it's by absentee ballot, at a Primary or Caucus.
Try some of these ideas to make a bigger difference this election:
- Encourage those around you to register before the election date and to go vote on the day of your primary or caucus.
- Take a friend to the polls who has never gone.
- Ask your senior citizen friends or others less mobile than you if they need a ride to the polls.
- Ask a caregiver if they need someone to care for a a loved one while they vote.
- Hold signs and wear t-shirts outside your polling place (please respect the rules of your local polling place when displaying signs)
If you do not know when and where you should vote, or for voter registration information, please call your county's Board of Elections or visit their website. For more information on voter registration issues, see: http://www.kucinich.us/voterreg/voter_reg.php
