Undocumented Cows, Undocumented People

From an editorial in the San Francisco Chronicle

Oh, well, it's all just election window dressing for Bush anyway. Fortunately, some people are on to him.

At the Iowa Brown and Black Presidential Forum last Sunday, presidential contender and U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) had it in perspective when he called the Bush plan "indentured servitude, because what they are talking about is locking people into control by corporations."

Kucinich added that the poem printed at the base of the Statue of Liberty doesn't say, "Give me your tired, your poor, and we will fingerprint them, we will take their picture and then we will deport them after we're finished getting their work."

Just remember, corporations do best when things are undocumented and off the books. Exploitation just works easier that way.
