LOS ANGELES Presidential candidate and former Cleveland Mayor Dennis Kucinich is producing his first television and radio advertising for the 2004 campaign with the help of former ad executive George Lois, the campaign has confirmed.

Lois, a member of the Art Directors Hall of Fame who served at New York agencies Doyle Dane Bernbach and Papert Koenig Lois, previously worked on the U.S. Senate campaigns of Robert F. Kennedy and Jacob Javits. Lois was not immediately available for comment.

The Kucinich campaign is "moving ahead and preparing to create some TV spots and radio and hoping to get into production in the next two weeks," said a representative for the Democratic presidential hopeful.
