Season of Light

Dear Friends,
As we approach the shortest day of the year, the darkness that envelops our nation is almost overwhelming. Unilateral decisions are made based on separation, fear and a war mentality. These are decisions that will impact our children and generations to come.
It is the Season of Light, and as the Sun begins its true north journey once again, heralding new life and all things good, beautiful and true...
We must end fear...
We must offer hope...
And we must continue to give Dennis J. Kucinich
this timely opportunity to lead politics, our nation
and the world in the direction of peace and cooperation
with non-violence as the organizing principle.
Look back over the centuries ever since humankind has recorded our very colorful existence. So many movements that have taken humanity a step forward in relation to equality, equity and right relationship have had at their core the principle of non-violence.
And so it is that Dennis Kucinich takes his place in the annals of history. A practical visionary who has proven himself to the people of Ohio, he now asks for the chance to prove himself to the people of the United States of America.
Will you give him that chance?
Will you vote your hope in your primary or caucus?
Will you support his voice being heard above the din of politics as usual?

December 15, 2003 marks the 25th anniversary of the Cleveland MUNY Light decision. Dennis stood firm in the face of the banks causing the city to default and has since been proven right. He is now serving his fourth term in the House of Representatives.

We invite everyone to join in the Celebration of Light on Sunday December 14 2003 as we gather in Cleveland, Ohio and in homes throughout the country to recognize and celebrate the Season of Light and Kucinich for President 2004.
