Local candidate to switch party affiliation from Green to Democrat

KOBTV reports:

Santa Fe-AP) -- David Bacon, the Green Party’s candidate for governor last year, says he plans to change his voter registration to the Democratic Party.

He says he’s switching so he can vote for presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich in the state Democratic caucuses in February.

Bacon says he’ll more than likely switch back to the Green Party if Kucinich fails to win the Democratic nomination.
