Danny Glover and Rep. Barbara Lee to Lead Events for Kucinich

October 31, 2003

Noted movie star, film producer, activist, United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, and Kucinich endorser Danny Glover has scheduled events on Nov. 2 and Nov. 23 to help promote Dennis Kucinich's presidential campaign.

Congresswoman Barbara Lee (D., Calif.), who co-chairs the Congressional Progressive Caucus, the largest caucus in Congress, with Congressman Kucinich, will lead a Town Hall Forum with Kucinich on Nov. 2.

November 2nd in Oakland, Calif.:
3:00 to 4:30 pm: Town Hall Forum with Kucinich and Lee. Local radio personality Ray Taliaferro will MC.
Taylor Memorial Methodist Church, 1188 12th Street.

5:00 to 8:00 pm: Kucinich Fundraising Dinner with Kucinich, Lee, and Glover.
Zazoo restaurant, 15 Embarcadero West, Jack London Square.

7:00 to 9:00 pm: Kucinich Celebration with Kucinich and supporters.
Java House, 3306 Lakeshore.

November 23rd in Los Angeles, Calif.:
1:00 p.m. Town Hall Meeting with Kucinich and Glover
Belvedere Junior High School Auditorium, 312 N Record Ave, Just South of Cesar Chavez in East Los Angeles.
