In an earlier ALERT we told you about how Dennis was maliciously maligned by Daniel Pipes on C-SPAN earlier this week. We told you that Pipes, a recent Bush appointee to the U.S. Institute of Peace, had implied that Dennis is in league with terrorists simply because he plans to address the Southern Californian chapter of CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) on Oct 4th.
WE ASKED YOU TO RAISE A CHORUS OF VOICES TO OUR ELECTED GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVES AND TO THE U.S. INSTITUTE OF PEACE ABOUT THIS BIASED AND INFLAMMATORY COVERAGE-AND RAISE YOUR VOICES YOU DID.
Now we'd like to share a call to arms suggested by one of you, our volunteer army of Washington Kucinich supporters. That is:
Contact C-SPAN directly and request that they telecast Dennis's Oct 4 address to CAIR so that viewer's can see for themselves how inaccurate Pipes's allegations are, and how politically biased.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
1. Send an email to C-SPAN politely insisting that they owe it to their audience and to political fairness to telecast Dennis's Oct 4th address to CAIR: events@c-span.org
2. After you've completed this, please tell us what you've done -- who you contacted, how, what you said, etc--by sending us an email at: media-response@kucinich-washington.org
