Iowa peace group endorses Kucinich as candidate for peace

Iowa peace group endorses Kucinich as candidate for peace:

Democratic presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich has been endorsed by one of Iowa's leading peace groups.

The Ohio Representative says the endorsement today from the Des Moines-based Stop the Arms Race Political Action Committee singles him out as the true candidate for peace.

Leaders of the peace group say they considered all nine Democrats for the party's presidential nomination.

They say they selected Kucinich based on his opposition to the war in Iraq, his call for an investigation into the Bush administration's stance on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and his pledge to cut military spending by 15 percent.
