Dear Friend,
I have been challenging the Bush Administration more vocally than ever in the last few days, and I want to tell you about it. And please forward this message.
But first, I need your help. There's only one day left before this quarter's fundraising deadline. Tuesday is the last day. My presidential campaign is counting on you.
Please take 3 minutes to make an online donation -- which will be doubled by federal matching funds: https://www.kucinich.us/contribute.php
This weekend I spoke out on your behalf on TV and radio and at an antiwar rally in California. Your support is allowing me to take my message to the airwaves. Here's a bit of what I said:
"The President has asked for another $87 billion with which to sink us further into the quicksand of a U.S.-occupied Iraq, even though a majority of you oppose spending that money. It is time to demand 'U.N. in, U.S. out!' There must be no privatization of the oil that belongs to the Iraqi people.
"This unjustified war has already cost thousands of Iraqi and American lives. U.S. soldiers are continuing to be killed and wounded. More Americans have died in Iraq since the President declared the mission accomplished than prior to that point.
"Now is the time to raise your voices, Americans. Hold peaceful demonstrations. Do not be intimidated! And call your Congress members to tell them to vote against another $87 billion for this misadventure."
My message is different than the other presidential candidates -- and thanks to you, it is spreading. If you are already supporting my campaign for peace and justice and environmental sustainability, please forward this email to someone who isn't yet.
And please send in donations by Tuesday night: https://www.kucinich.us/contribute.php
Sincerely,
Dennis J. Kucinich
PS. Another way to help is by buying campaign merchandise, hopefully today: http://officialkucinichstore.us/
