National health care could save U.S. $200 billion a year
The New England Journal of Medicine has published a study showing that if the U.S. switched to a national health care system like in Canada, it could reduce costs by more than $200 billion (yes, that's billion not million) a year.
Kucinich is the only major candidate proposing a national health care system.
