Kucinich at Arab American Institute's National Leadership Conference

Dennis Kucinich will be attending the Arab American Institute's National Leadership Conference in Dearborn, Michigan, on October 17-19, 2003. If you're an Arab American, do consider being there to here him speak and to have a chance to discover his positions on issues that affect Arab Americans.

As-Salaam Alaikum,

I hope Kucinich gets in. As you wrote in the article about why you support Kucinich whoever is the Pres. will impact upon Muslims (and indeed everyone) in the rest of the whole world.

Insha Allah Muslims will register and VOTE.

Incidentally though, where is the name Kucinich from?

Wasalaam,

Thanks for visiting, Jabir! You are absolutely right.

I believe that Kucinich's family are originally from Croatia; the names that end in "-ich" are usually Slavic. Also names that end in "-ach"; my mom's family name is Kovach and they come from Slovenia.
