(Chicago-AP) -- Two Democratic candidates for president came to Chicago today to talk about labor but ended up criticizing the Bush administration's lack of an exit strategy in Iraq.
Representatives Richard Gephardt of Missouri and Dennis Kucinich of Ohio say Bush should ask the United Nations for help immediately.
Gephardt and Kucinich made their remarks after speaking to the 65th annual convention of the Communications Workers of America.
During their speeches to the convention, both candidates stressed the need for better health care in the US and more protection for those who organize labor unions.
Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts is scheduled to talk this afternoon. Two more candidates are expected to attend tomorrow. They are former Vermont Governor Howard Dean and Senator Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut.
