A new surge of energy

Kucinich posted this entry to his blog on July 24, 2003.

There has been a new surge of energy that has occurred in our campaign. Our fundraising has now surpassed the $2 million mark. More and more people are getting involved. Last weekend in Seattle, 450 people showed up for an organizing meeting and the following day in Portland nearly 300 people showed up for another organizing meeting. We now have organizations in 34 states and are clearly on a powerful upswing?and what will sustain our growth is not only your continued participation but also your ability to help us reach out to your own communities to help with fundraising and organizing for a door-to-door effort. This is not simply a campaign. Your involvement is helping to create a new movement in America towards peace, sustainability, healthcare, education, and economic opportunities for all. As we redouble our efforts, we are creating a new America so help us to keep reaching out. Contact your friends and urge them to join us at www.kucinich.us.
