About Muslims For Kucinich

This blog tracks the political activities of Congressman Dennis Kucinich. The entries are typically news reports, links to discussion and commentary, copies of emails and press releases from Kucinich's organizations (his presidential campaign and his office in Congress), and the text of his speeches in Congress.

The purpose of the site is to allow the reader to keep up to date on what Kucinich is doing and saying, and about what others may be saying about him.

Kucinich's politics are nearly identical to my own. Although he never stood much chance to win in 2004 (and didn't in 2008 before he withdrew), I supported his campaigns and in 2004 got heavily involved both locally and at the national level doing outreach to Muslims (hence the title of the blog) because I wanted to make sure Kucinich's voice was heard and that someone was speaking up on those issues.

I was not as actively involved for the 2008 campaign, in part due to not having the time for it with my work obligations, but I did want to make sure that Kucinich's voice was still heard.

Please also see my post at veiled4allah on why I am supporting Barack Obama for the nomination.
