Al-Muhajabah's Movable Type Tips

MT comes with a simple CGI script that will allow people to email a link to a blog entry to their friends. This is designed to go with an inline form on the individual entry archive page. However, it's much more convenient to call it in a pop-up window. This allows you to place the "email this entry" form everywhere the entry appears, and saves time on rebuilding. David Gagne wrote a script to create the pop-up windows and a tutorial to go along with it. It's pretty straightforward if you're comfortable with configuring CGIs and doing a little javascript.
