visitors with the most comments
This feature is also known as the comment leader board. I originally did it with a PHP script, but now I'm using the CommentLeaders plugin. Using the plugin is as easy as can be. Upload the plugin file to your plugins directory then add the new tags to your template.
You can also list the total number of comments by each comment author. You will need to add the comment leader board code first, rebuild your blog, then add the comment total tags afterwards. This is so that MT will store the comment totals in your database. For some reason, this feature doesn't work on multiple blogs. It works on your primary blog, but if you add it to a second blog, it will only display "xxx" for the comment total.
You can also use some of the conditional plugins like Compare to display images based on the number of comments that a comment author has.
