show the total number of pings sent to your blog
This is a very simple plugin. BlogPings adds the MTBlogPingCount tag to go with the MTBlogCommentCount tag. Standard MT doesn't treat comments and pings as equal, but plugins like this fill in the gap.

This comment is off-topic. Sorry.
I was wondering why it takes so long for your veiled4allah page to display.

Er, sorry about missing this comment for so long. This blog gets neglected sometimes.
The veiled4allah page is quite large and includes some stuff that's loaded from other sites like the Islamic date or the Weather Pixie. If those sites are slow, it can slow the loading of my page.
If there's some sidebar stuff that you never look at, you can hide it. Click on the little "x" box in the corner of each sidebar block. This will set a cookie that remembers your configuration. By hiding some of the sidebar blocks, you can make the page load faster and the more you hide, the faster it goes.
I really ought to stop adding so much sidebar stuff, but the veiled4allah page is usually the only one people look at, despite my best efforts to get them to look at other pages, so I stick everything I want them to see on that page.
If you've got the self-control to keep your blog index lean and mean and quick to load, I congratulate you!
