display the Islamic date in your blog
The HijriahDate plugin allows you to display the Islamic date for each entry. It gives you a <$MTEntryHijriahDate$> tag to use in your templates. You can use this just as you would use the standard <$MTEntryDate$> tag. You could either replace every instance of MTEntryDate with MTEntryHijriahDate or display them both.
This is something I've wanted for a long time.
In order to use this plugin, copy and paste the code shown at the MT forums thread linked above into a text editor. Save the file as hijriah.pl. Upload it in ASCII mode to your server and place it in the plugins directory as you would any other plugin. You can then use the MTEntryHijriahDate tag in your templates.

السلام عايك ورحمة الله وبركاته
i love this script, i'm just testing it in arabic on my blog:
replace the list of months on line 27 as follows:
my @hijriahmonths = ('محرم','صفر','ربيعالأول','ربيعالثاني','جمادىالأول','جمادىالآخر','رجب','شعبان','رمضان''شوال','ذوالقعدة','ذوالحجة',);
does that work, ya munaqabah?
thanks for an inspiring site!
