did you?

Subjects: voting

Just got back from voting. The turnout is incredible. I've never seen that many people at my polling place. Usually when I go around mid-day, there's only a handful of people; today there was a line and every booth was taken. A lot of people who don't usually vote, it sounded like, a lot of young people and minorities, two groups that I don't usually see voting. Wow!

My mom says that turnout was also very high in her precinct; she's never seen it that high and she's been living and voting there for 25 years.

Go Kerry!

Inshallah khayr.
