Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday!Nice to see you back
Subject: When are you getting married?
I am serious! If you are true Muslim woman, you would stop all these childish politics, and get married.Subject: Re: When are you getting married?
Brother, I would recommend that you take some time out from the blogs and go learn proper adab. This was an astonishingly rude post. If Allah SWT has willed for me to get married, then He will send me a husband. And if He has not, then that is what He has willed. As for my politics, I consider it my obligation to keep myself informed about the world around me, and to speak up to command the right and condemn the wrong, the same as any man. I trust that my future husband will approve.
Subject: Another year older....
Stop these childish politics???? That doesn't seem to be a Happy Birthday email.(by the way, Happy Birthday)
And on getting married?
That is sort of a personal decision, isn't it?
This site is one which educates non-Muslims and gives a non-slanted perspective on what is going on in the world.
Or, are you proposing marriage to her personally??????
Sheesh, I didn't get married till I was 34 and got to do all the things I couldn't if I were married younger with children....A person should follow their dreams and contribute socially.
I believe every person on earth should do ONE thing volunteering doing good works...this is a good work.
Personally, from reading the blogs here and following links, (I used to read e-jihad.net before and they changed their name) There are many good links which come from this site.....more non-Muslims should read it and learn that all Muslims are not "pagans" and are a great race and religion of people...afterall this country was founded because people fled Europe from religious persecution...and more Americans should know that Islam is a good religion and not just hear the propaganda which is spewed from our mainstream media.
Hurray for this site! It is not "childish politics."
It is educational and important and I wish more Americans would take the trouble to interact with the Islamic culture and to educate themselves and not to believe that the Islamic religion is one of war and hate and that the Qua-ran teaches many good things.

Subject: Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday Sister.
I came across your site whilst surfing for want of anything better to do. It's nice to hear from a fellow Muslim, shame about being American though - didn't think there was any intelligent life out there!! Sorry if that's offended you or any other Muslim brothers or sisters, it's just that our opinion of Americans on this side of the Atlantic is disappearing into quick sand at the mo due to your treatment of our people in certain parts of the world.
May Allah (SWT) let Akal prevail.
