still trying

I had another job interview this morning. The job isn't as interesting as some of the previous ones I've interviewed for, it's for an administrative assistant position at a trucking company. Mostly a lot of clerical work processing and filing job applications. But the pay will do, and it would be a steady job. So here's hoping.

I also may have a possible lead on some contract work that might bring in a few extra bucks a week, but it's very much in the air so I can't really say anything about it yet.

Well, I hope you get it - this unemployment blows big time. And just remind yourself: it's temporary. I mean the clerical job, not just the state of being unemployed. I have a theory: once you have a job, everyone that was ignoring you before will suddenly find you endlessly attractive and will have to have you. It's like a steady paycheck gives off a pheromone.
