plugging away again

I've got a new post up at Open Source Politics. Actually, I had one earlier this week, but it was a real quickie, little more than links to a couple of good resource sites, because I had to fill in at the last minute for another author. I've got a full-blown post up now called The Exploitation Game. It's about how employers knowingly hire undocumented workers so that they can avoid having to abide by fair labor standards laws. For all the hysteria from certain quarters about "rewarding the illegal behavior" of undocumented workers, there's very little attention on how current law rewards the illegal behavior of these exploitative employers. It's disgraceful. I have a lot more sympathy for a poverty-striken migrant than I do for a greedy corporation hoping to cut corners for a bigger profit.
