This last week was extraordinarily busy for me, with four political meetings or events in six days. This morning I attended a Kucinich fundraising breakfast in Seattle then went on over to work. Hopefully, this next week will be a bit calmer, inshallah.

At work I'm doing some database work again, but this time it's database administration instead of data entry. Much more fun.

Last Friday we had a special staff meeting to discuss relations between the staff and the board. It was a very emotional meeting at times; it was obvious that the current situation is frustrating to most people. I felt that the interim executive director has been a major part of the problem and it's just as well that she's leaving in a month when the new permanent executive director comes on board. All of this office politics reminds me why I'm not interested in moving into a management position where I'd have to deal with it. Just let me do the legal work, and I'll be happy smile
