the Bush administration's revenge hit

Date: September 28, 2003 | 1 Shaban 1424 Hijriah
For those who are looking for coverage of the Valerie Plame scandal now beginning to break, here are some good links

Nurse Ratched has an excellent single-post summary of the story, for those who are not familiar with it.

Jeanne d'Arc has a useful collection of links tracing the history of the scandal.

Kevin Drum has excellent commentary, especially this post on what this story says about the character of the Bush Administration.

Atrios, as usual, has all the latest news and links, while Josh Micah Marshall has the inside-the-Beltway angle.

I should also mention that Mark Kleiman has been blogging this story all along and will have a major post on it up at Open Source Politics by Monday morning. Update: Mark's post is up.

Note: I've been following this story on my Clipboard blog (maybe you should be reading it, eh?). It first appeared on July 17 with an article by David Corn in The Nation. Additional stories appeared during the following week by Paul Krugman in the New York Times, on MSNBC, in Time, and in Newsday. The next thing I posted on it was an August 17 column by John Dean which explores the legal background and declares the hit on Plame, "worse than Nixonian".
