IQ test

Date: September 23, 2003 | 26 Rajab 1424 Hijriah
Subjects: miscellaneous
I took the Emode.com online IQ test. I would have to pay to see detailed results but it told me that my IQ is 136 and that my intellectual type is Facts Curator, about which it says: This means you are highly intelligent and have picked up an impressive and unique collection of facts and figures over the years. You've got a remarkable vocabulary and exceptional math skills.

I selected completely random answers without even reading and I got a 95 with an intellectual type of "Precision Processor."

I refuse to do IQ tests now *grumble*. Once upon a time I was pretty convinced that Hubby and I were about the same in intelligence level, although I knew he had an aptitude for maths that I don't have. Then we did this national test that was put on Australian telly and he got twenty points more than me!!! Ever since then, I'm not game to do any more IQ tests as my one excuse was that I was coming down off pregnancy hormones at the time and the IQ test had lots of maths in it. If I did another one and it confirmed how much higher he is than me (he did the Emode one) I would just be depressed. sad

If you follow the trackback on this entry, you'll see a good point made by Ken Hagler. These tests don't measure intelligence so much as they measure knowledge. This test in particular requires knowledge of math and certain cultural phrases and ideas. So don't let it get you down.

And if the hubby says anything, just give this response:
