I write like a man

Date: September 05, 2003 | 8 Rajab 1424 Hijriah
Subjects: random
At least according to The Gender Genie, I do. I copied in no fewer than five of my long entries, the two from Open Source Politics and three from this blog, and in every case, the Gender Genie said that it was written by a man. roll eyes

Oooh how funny. It got three out of four for me. I must write like a girly! (Given your legal background Sis, I wonder if that makes a difference with your writing).

Singing I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK....

It says that I'm a girlie, just like my dear mamar!

Talk about gender bending! I didn't even notice that Lynn's name had been automatically entered! My wife seems to be sneaking around on me in blogdom....

It says that I'm a man, for three out of the four entries I gave it (I guess that means I am of a different gender from Joel after all, even if he is a girly like his dear marmar).

No, I am 100% female smile

I think that sister Maryam is right. I gave it five of my longer pieces with few quotes from outside sources, so it would have more to work with, but those tend to be written in my "legal" style.

Now, the real question is why formal legal writing is seen as masculine.

Joel, you not only write like a woman, you post comments as one too wink I hear that Brian Flemming of Slumdance also had the gender-bending problem, even when he submitted a post in which he was writing about some attractive woman he saw deathstare

The Poor Man submitted some posts of different bloggers and both he and I turned out to be female.

Just for that I'm telling everyone that you're going around in drag.
