Subject: Re: Imagine the America you want to live in #4
This is a question that it may be hard to answer the way it's written; it may be difficult to list exactly three. Feel free to post and share whatever you feel is important. For me, three important principles or values are:
1) To leave the world better than I found it
2) By working together, we can accomplish more than any of us could alone
3) Trying one's best to do right will always be rewarded, if not in this world then in the next
Obviously this is not in any way a comprehensive list. However, I hope it's enough to get our dialogue started, inshallah.

Subject: Re: Imagine the America you want to live in #4
In the context of what I work to see manifested in America, my values are:1. to refuse to be overwhelmed by power and money, and trust in the power of the people
2. to strive for peace with justice
3. for all life to have equal value
