TypePad to go public

It seems like the TypePad beta testing period just started and already TypePad is going to go public.

It's still under development but a preview release begins on Monday. The prices are $4.95/month for Basic, $8.95/month for Plus, and $14.95/month for Pro. You can read about the preview release and the service levels

As a beta tester I will be able to offer 20 people a 20% lifetime discount on TypePad. So you'd actually be paying $3.96/month for Basic, $7.16/month for Plus, or $11.96/month for Pro. If you want to get the code from me for the TypePad discount, I'll give it out on a first-come, first-served basis.

Since I already have webhosting that I'm paying for and since I don't want to use TypePad for all my blogs, I'm going to be setting up Muslims For Kucinich here at muhajabah.com and importing it into MT. Looks like I've found my weekend project...

I really enjoyed using TypePad. I think it is an excellent blogging system and I strongly recommend it, especially to people who would like to move up from Blogger but find MT to be a bit too much.

My blog site is just awful. I give up on p-machine and would really like to give TypePad a shot. TypePad looks GR8 and the built-in photo album integration is an incredible feature.

Several of my friends want to follow me into the blog world so a promotional code would really go to a good use. If it is available, I'd appreciate one of the promotional discounts.

Admittedly I'm a blog newbie. Although i have mild web experience, (being a Bio major, not a comp guy..) I'm pretty sure movable type would confuse the hell out of me. If you had another promo code lying around - i would be eternally grateful smile thanks alot!
