Islam in the Digital Age

Date: July 30, 2003 | 30 Jumada al-Awwal 1424 Hijriah
Subjects: blogs
Yesterday while checking Technorati to see who's linking to me, I found a new blog called Virtually Islamic by Gary Bunt, a lecturer in Islamic Studies at the University of Wales Lampeter. It turns out that Gary has just published a book called Islam in the Digital Age, which looks at Muslims and Islam on the internet in the post-9/11 world. He sent me an email today to tell me about his site and book. He also says that he is going to mention my blog in an upcoming publication. I notice the sidebar of his blog describes veiled4allah as "a lively and informative blog". All praise is due to Allah for any good in what I've written or that comes from it.

Getting past my vanity, I do encourage you to check out Gary's site and blog. I look forward to seeing what he has to say.
