Muslims pride themselves on their faith's steadfast stand against prejudice and the Koran's proclamation that "We have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know each other." Compare this with the ubiquity of anti-Jewish bigotry among some Muslims today, and you'll find yourself wondering why the everyday reality has departed so far from the stated ideal...Here's my own post on Muslims and anti-Semitism.
...Muslim-Americans, especially, face a critical challenge that demands an unequivocal stand against the trap of ignorance and bigotry. In the current chilling political climate of racial profiling, secret detentions, and the mainstream acceptance of anti-Muslim bigotry, we have much to learn from the Jewish experience in Europe and North America. The Jewish stories of tragic pain, oppression, resistance, and renewal are especially relevant to us today...
...A person's value in front of God, the Koran teaches, is measured according to that individual's piety and good works, not by the color of his or her skin, or by national origin.
Muslim-Americans need to take practical steps to make this Islamic ideal a reality in their daily lives. Confronting the contradictions within our own communities is never easy, but it is necessary. Muslims must speak out forcefully against anti-Jewish hate speech in our institutions and mosques. Only when we are true to our stated beliefs will we be able to speak with moral authority on the issues that we hold dear.

I appreciate tht this subject is being discussed. When I was new to Islam I quickly got the impression that it was part of the religion itself to hate the Jews. I was misinformed about other things as well, and to cope emotionally I put all those things that made me uncomfortable about what people were "teaching" me about Islam into one mental filebox, did not seek to practise or act on them, and went on with what rang true in my heart about Islam. I''m glad I did so...because years later when I went back into that filebox to check if those things were REALLY part of Islam, I found that they certainly weren't.It's been said before...alhamdulillah that I got to know Islam before getting to know Muslims.

How we express our feeling toward the mischief and the killing taking place right now by this group of people? I don't think there is any space in Palestinians’ heart to deal with these people in a way as you mentionedin your article, and Palestinians is body of the ISLAMIC-UMMA.I believe we Muslim must hung on to the book of ALLAH (S.W). It is a very difficult time for every Muslims and that is the will of ALLAH (S.W), if we are going to compromise hopping to ease the condition, we defiantly lose not only the struggle against oppression but also the test in our believe in ALLAH (S.W).ALLAH (S.W) told us who are our enemies and friends, and how to deal with them. We must act upon that for success.
