back to my weekend geekery

Date: July 11, 2003 | 11 Jumada al-Awwal 1424 Hijriah
Subjects: website, features
With the help of a couple of plugins and some MT wizardry, I've now modified the main index page of Al-Muhajabah's Islamic Blogs to display the most recent entries from Al-Muhajabah's Movable Type Tips, The Niqabi Paralegal, and Muslims For Kucinich. It was pulling in the content from Muslims For Kucinich that was tricky since it resides on a TypePad server not in my MT installation like the other blogs. The page also features a list of the five blog entries people have most recently been commenting on and a list of the five websites I've most recently linked to.

If you weren't aware of the main index page before, this would be a good time to check it out, inshallah. veiled4allah is only one-third of what I've got at Al-Muhajabah's Islamic Blogs. A Quranic Journal may only be of interest to Muslims, but The Clipboard is where most of my political commentary goes because it's in the form of discussing news articles. Instead of coming straight to veiled4allah, why not bookmark the Al-Muhajabah's Islamic Blogs main index instead? Then when you visit you can get a really quick view of everything I've posted. If you're only reading veiled4allah, you're missing out on a lot.

Note: I do try to draw peoples' attention to these other blogs even on the veiled4allah page since entries to A Quranic Journal and The Clipboard are listed along with veiled4allah entries in the "recent entries" section of the sidebar, and I'm pulling in links to the most recent entries from Movable Type Tips, The Niqabi Paralegal, and Muslims For Kucinich on this page too. Test yourself to see if you can find them wink
