you're the best, Dad

My dad is a pretty cool guy. He doesn't talk much, but he's the kind that's always there when you need him. He's like a rock. There have been some times in my life when his support made a big difference for me.

Another example is that during winter quarter, I had a class two nights a week that got out at 9:30 p.m. Since I don't own a car, I usually take the bus to and from campus. But my dad was worried about me being out that late alone. So two nights a week for ten weeks, he drove over to campus to pick me up and take me home.

My dad has been supportive of my choice to be a Muslim and every now and then will ask me questions so he can understand it better.

What can I say? He's one of the best!
