Muslim voices 3

Date: April 18, 2003 | 15 Safar 1424 Hijriah
Subjects: muslim, blogs
The first blog in today's installment is Global Citizen of the Human Community, by brother John Janney, a convert to Islam (yes, another one). John hasn't updated his blog in awhile, but he's got some good content up. Of particular note is his article, Yes, I'm White and Muslim.

Second is golBolution by brother Basil Gohar. Basil has a unique voice and narrative style. His posts include Islamic information and reflections on what's going on in his life.

Third, we have Islam-4-Real by brother Tora. He also has an excellent mix of Islamic information and anecdotes about what's going on in his life. He also has a brief funny parody (March 30) about Weapons of Maths Instruction. lol

Fourth is K-A-L-E-I-D-O-S-C-O-P-E by brother Shadaan. Like the other blogs I've highlighted here, this one is a mix of personal stories and Islamic information. Recent posts include an amusing story about a cell-phone with a James Bond ringtone and information about Whirling Dervishes.

Finally, there is kaSheurKoor Says, by sister Kasheur (who comments here at veiled4allah as kchica). She is Kashmiri. She shares Islamic thoughts and information, personal reflections, and a miscellany of other posts. I particularly like her recent post (April 15) in which she shares a poem she found called "I'm Too Busy".

As Salam Alaikum. Jazak Allah. I feel elated that u consider my silly blog worthy of mention here. The kind of effort you, brother Tora Bora and others infuse into your blogs to spread the message of Islam is way too awesome. Allah bless you and may your blog continue to be the powerhouse of Islamic info/thought that it is now. Ameen.
