Al-Muhajabah's Movable Type Tips

Date: March 03, 2003 | 28 Dhu-l-Hijjah 1423 Hijriah
Subjects: website, features
Al-Muhajabah's Movable Type Tips is now live. I had a bit more tweaking to do on the templates, and I wrote the first real entry in the blog. Feel free to check it out if you're interested in MT or in how I've set up Al-Muhajabah's Islamic Blogs. Inshallah, I'll be adding to it gradually to provide an explanation of all the tricks I use on this blog.

I've also added a link to it on my sidebar. It's in "The Blog" at the bottom of that block of content, right below the MT version number.

Hello, I found your site through blogsnob, and I'm surprised to see a muslim blogger. Well, maybe not surprised, just pleased - because I've never read a muslim blogger before. I may come off as ignorant when I said that, so I'm sorry if I did, hehe, but I'm just glad because my best friend of 12 years is Muslim. I grew up with her learning about her faith and her customs, and it was so amazing to me because I am a Christian, (born-again), and I love to learn about other peoples' faith. I don't want to waste your time or anything, but seeing as how I myself don't have time to read through all your entries, I just want to say I think it's very important for people to learn about other faiths... In school, where I live, it's very easy to come across people who definitely have the wrong impressions of Muslims, even Christians... especially Christians who are saved. Although some people think stereotypes are funny, I tend to think that they can be very hurtful, because it's just so hard to explain to people nowadays how you feel about what you believe in. Anyway, I'll definitely come back to visit and read some more. Have a good day smile

Thanks for visiting, Jane, and thanks for your lovely comment. There are a small but growing number of Muslim bloggers these days. I have some links in my sidebar, near the bottom. Some Muslim bloggers write personal journals, others discuss religion or politics. Really, there's all kinds, just as there are of other groups of bloggers smile

I hope you'll continue to visit and leave comments about what interests you.
