Memo to Bin Laden: Go to Hell

Date: February 20, 2003 | 18 Dhu-l-Hijjah 1423 Hijriah
Subjects: article
Memo to Binladen: Go to Hell!. Strong words from American Muslim Muqtedar Khan. Some highlights:

Islam was sent as mercy to humanity and not as an ideology of terror or hatred. It advocates plurality and moral equality of all faiths (Quran 2:62, 5:69). To use Islam, as a justification to declare an Armageddon against all non-Muslims is inherently unIslamic - it is a despicable distortion of a faith of peace. One of Allah's 99 names in the Quran is "Al Salam" which means Peace. Thus in a way Muslims are the only people who actually worship peace. Today this claim sounds so empty, thanks to people like you, Mr. Bin Laden. You and those like you are dedicated to killing and bringing misery to people wherever they are. God blessed you with the capacity to lead and also endowed you with enormous resources. You could have used your influence in Afghanistan to develop it, to bring it out of poverty and underdevelopment and show the world what Islam can do for those who believe in it. You chose to provoke and bring war to a people who had already been devastated by wars... When the Prophet Muhammad (saw) and his companions fought in the name of Islam, Allah made them victorious and glorified them in this world. They made Islam the currency of human civilization for over a millennium. You and your men on the other hand face nothing but defeat, global ridicule and contempt and run and hide like rats in caves and dungeons. You live in the dark. Your faith neither enlightens you nor enables you to live in the light and you have made Islam the currency of hate and violence.

Let me tell you that I would rather live in America under Ashcroft and Bush at their worst, than in any "Islamic state" established by ignorant, intolerant and murderous punks like you and Mullah Omar at their best. The US, patriot act not withstanding is still a more Islamic (just and tolerant) state than Afghanistan ever was under the Taliban.

Pathetic Statement.

And Mullah Omar is no ignorant man, talk about slandering, and attacking people, this man needs a bit of his own medicine. And he could carry on living in such a safe America....his statement can easily be refuted.
I was reading stuff on this article [Read below, after paragraph], and those who compromise their deen, and fear the blame of the blamers, Allah will replace them with a people who are better.

This guy, and people like him, they only saw part of what they believe in. If you ever meet one of these 'modernists', it shouldn't take long before they start revealing some of what they hide.

When one of these modernists broke his vow of silence in Toronto once, he said it straight-out, and I quote: "I believe that Islam (Islam - not Muslims, or Islam as currently followed by the masses or anything like this. He plainly said "Islam".) has aspects of violence and sexism and we need to change it".

Reminds me of one of the Signs of al-Qiyaamah, when the Rasulallah [saws] said that the ignorant people would have a say in general affairs.

He's also a member of The Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy (CSID) - meaning this guy is a willful participant in the spread of shirk amongst Muslims.

Too bad Muqtedar Khan didn't call it the Center for the Study of Islam and Shura. Maybe that would be OK in your eyes? I don't agree with everything that Khan says, but you know that I don't agree with you either. You might check out the links in my "is there an Islamic fascism?" post.

You accuse Khan of kufr without even bothering to ask what he means by the word "democracy". That's a pretty serious accusation to make about a person. The Prophet (sAas) said that when a Muslim accuses another Muslim of being a kafir, one of them is. If it's not the one accused, it's the one making the accusation, for doing so. I hope you'll be more careful what you say.

How can people, including Muslims be sure that Bin Laden did it?! all of it came from the American media, America is known for making the special-effect movies-- so they could have EASILY made up those so -called bin laden tapes i mean who's going to leave some recorded tapes just lying around the desert or in the moutains?! No has right to blame him or any Muslim, those freemasons are quite clever, the whole of the american government knows it all and planned it all. And the jews have a big hand in it as well...Even i believed the same before but after alot of research it (the truth) was soooo obvious, right in my faces yelling out to the world. I would explain more but right now i have to do my homework...This is a very cool site by the way. Any one is free to email me, i can give some specific sites that prove it all, and even more then that...

Ah, yes the Freemason-Jewish conspiracy claim. Come on, my dear, that's no more likely than that there's an evil Islamic conspiracy bent on destroying civilization. roll eyes roll eyes roll eyes

Bin Laden believes that killing civilians is an acceptable form of jihad and he has described the 9/11 attacks as "praiseworthy" (mahmud). That is more than enough to condemn him in my book.

BIn Laden carries the Qasidah of our Beloved Rasulullah (SAW), do you really think that he would take that as a way of Jihad? Do you think he would go against the sunnah of Rasulullah (SAW)? I amongst many, many others believe that Bin Laden's Iman is probably stronger then 70 muslims Iman put together...

I hope that you are correct that he does not hold the beliefs about jihad that have been attributed to him. I am judging him by his own words that have been published.

As to his guilt, only Allah SWT knows the truth of that. I do not presume to speak. He is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, as is anyone else.

If that is not sufficient for you, then we will have to agree to disagree and Allah SWT will judge between us.

Finally, that conspiracy theory stuff is garbage in my opinion. Don't believe everything you read.

I wish you well, sister, but it's clear that you and I see things very differently.

What you say is true, and i respect that of couse. The thing is that i did before believe the same as you do. And i know i shouldn't beleive everything i read, but i go to an Islamic school and when rumors were going around at that time, later after a couple of months... i was told, with many facts, and told to do some reading, written by both non-muslims and Muslims regarding the 'trure' Bin Laden and who really did the 9/11 thing, and trust me, By Allah i had the same opinion as you but there's sooooo much more to "that conspiracy theory " and i learn more about it as days pass

and there's other things i've been told when i went to Hajj this year, but i feel that it would be a VERY bad idea if i said anything on the this form or any other...
(If you don't mind...i'd like to add you on msn so we can talk about this more)
And Allah hu Allam...Allah nows best
