the ordinary people of Iraq

Date: February 20, 2003 | 18 Dhu-l-Hijjah 1423 Hijriah
Subjects: iraq
On A Small Bridge in Iraq (PDF) was written by a Japanese novelist who visited Iraq. It includes a number of pictures (my link is to the low-quality version because its much faster to download; if you have broadband, you might want to check out the high-quality version instead) and the author's experiences in Iraq getting to know ordinary Iraqis and seeing the after-effects of the sanctions.

Whatever you think about war on Iraq, I hope you'll take the time to read this e-book and learn about the people whose future we're deciding.
