is this why the threat level is orange?

Date: February 19, 2003 | 17 Dhu-l-Hijjah 1423 Hijriah
Subjects: terrorism
Recently, terrorists have provided radical organizations with sensitive materials involving the strategic response of the National Guard to a variety of emergency situations, been accused of plotting to kill the governor of Washington State, attempted to bomb an environmental group's office, and plotted to suicide bomb an abortion clinic.

eek eek eek

...oh, wait, the suspects aren't Muslims, they're white supremacist militia types. I guess it's not terrorism after all. Thank God. If Muslims had done all those things, we'd probably be at threat level red by now.

No, the terror alert isn't about any of those dangerous people.

It's about the Muslims in Riverside, California, deciding to attack the Norco navy base. Or something.

At least that's what the Navy is telling the local press.

Read about it in my Inland Anti-Empire blog:

Thanks for visiting, Kynn. And that is a great post at your blog. God bless you for speaking up about this.

It's really strange that for all the hysteria about "sleeper cells" and the like, there's been more violence from these right-wing militia groups than from Muslims and the worst that most people can actually say about American Muslims is to accuse us of being "silent" and not speaking up more strongly to condemn terrorism (although it's not true that Muslims have been silent, not at all).
