Sorry I don't know much about PHP so I can't help you there.
But if you ever need help on finding open source java based tools, I may be able to help you there. Ofcourse, i'm biased but i think that java based programs are more robust as they are used in fortune 1000.

No, I don't manage PHP myself. I just have a bunch of PHP scripts running on this page. I'm not perfectly sure what's going on but I had to make a bunch of changes to my file settings suddenly. I think my webhost is doing something weird. Something having to do with running PHP scripts as CGIs.
Fortunately, it seems to be fixed now, inshallah.

I wish I can comment about war and stuff, but all I know about it is Bush is a lousy president and he's gonna get it one day. Yeah, I'm your average clueless-about-the-world girl.
