Eid mubarak!

Date: February 11, 2003 | 9 Dhu-l-Hijjah 1423 Hijriah
Subjects: eid
Today is Eid al-Adha for many Muslims; other Muslims begin the holiday tomorrow. It depends on their local moonsighting. You can read more about Eid al-Adha here.

May all my Muslim readers have a blessed and joyous Eid and may our prayers and celebrations be pleasing to Allah SWT.

What, no Eid Mubarak for me? Then I'm definitely not going to wish you a happy Passover, al-Muhajabah. smile

And Aziz, I'll wish you a joyous Eid here - there didn't seem to be an appropriate place to do it on your blog.

I don't need a Passover greeting, although you can give me one if you want, but since you requested it: Eid mubarak, Jonathan.

You do realize I was kidding, don't you? BTW, if you get the chance, read the profile of Tehany el-Gebaly in this week's Al-Ahram. I think the two of you would like each other a great deal if you ever met.
