it's all in how you round the numbers, I guess

Just how many antiwar protestors were there? Reuters estimates that there were "hundreds of thousands" across the country. According to the the Washington Post, there were "tens of thousands" in D.C. alone, while the ABC News report only says "thousands". Surely with all the technology we have these days, we can get a reasonable estimate as to how many people there were.

What's really odd is when you go to a news aggregator page like Google News and see a headline for "tens of thousands" right next to a headline for "thousands".

However many there were, more power to them!

this post sort of reminded me of the saying.. "statistics lie". and its so true.. one can use statisitcs to relay something from their perspective-- and its not false, just the half-truth.
